The Stable Cardiff

Pizzas at The Stable in Cardiff

The Stable is the home of pizza, pies and cider. With humble beginnings in 2009 as a dilapidated hotel and stable in in Dorset, the owners converted the buildings and locally sourced quality cider and produce. After receiving rave reviews, The Stable expanded further into the South West - and as they say, the rest is history!

The Glamorgan Heritage Coast Sunset Tour

Dunraven Bay, Summer Sundowner Tour, Glamorgan Heritage Coast, Wales Coast Path

There's worse ways to spend a warm summers evening than a journey along the jurassic coastline in the Vale of Glamorgan. Only 30 minutes from the centre of Cardiff, I was whisked away with three other bloggers on an evening exploration with Real Wales Tours.
You may remember I was invited on a tour with the company back in the Spring and had a wonderful time in the Wye Valley.
This "Summer Sundowner" tour began at 7:30pm from Cardiff Central, making it a perfect after-work experience with friends and family.

The Smoke Haus Birmingham

The Smoke Haus Birmingham

The Smoke Haus emerged in Swansea back in 2012, taking inspiration from American diners with flavoursome steaks, bbq ribs and more.
The Welsh appetite for smokey flavours of Kentucky grew and the passionate owners expanded into Cardiff just two years later. Between then and now I've not escaped the countless pictures on social media of those glazed ribs, donut burgers and massive portions!

In this time I've resisted temptation, however when an offer to explore their menu and new location in Birmingham landed in my inbox, I let my rumbling stomach talk me into the four hour round trip...

Harmony of the Seas Ship Tour

Harmony of the Seas pool deck, The perfect storm waterslides

If you've not heard of Harmony of the Seas yet - where have you been?! This colossal cruise ship is currently the largest afloat, longer than the Eiffel Tower is tall and able to carry over 5,000 guests.
Arriving in UK waters in May, the initial response to Royal Caribbean International's newest ship was mixed as the vessel was still receiving it's final touches ahead of the official maiden voyage.
Speak as I find, I boarded the ship on Sunday to explore the public areas and see if things were ship-shape before Harmony's departure for the mediterranean sun.
