Parc Pantry is an award winning coffee shop and delicatessen located in the Malpas area of Newport, South Wales which offers fresh sandwiches, soups, cakes and more.
Parc Pantry opened in the summer of 2014 by two friends and foodies Matt and Ant, and has since gone from strength to strength picking up a local V Award and opening a second Tea Rooms in Belle Vue.
On my first visit I enjoyed a very filling classic ham and cheese sandwich, along with a rich and indulgent orange hot chocolate. Matt and Ant offer a fresh take on the traditional coffee shop as their Malpas pantry contains an eclectic mix of gifts, furniture and food ready to purchase including birthday cards, mugs, Welsh cheese, and even the table you’re eating off.

On another trip I enjoyed some American Pancakes with a friend who opted for the breakfast toastie, or rather “THE” breakfast toastie as it’s everything you’d need to set you up for a busy working day. The thick doorstep bread is loaded with grilled bacon, chorizo, emmental cheese and served with a pot of tomato chutney.
